Naval District Washington Revitalizes Sailor 360 Program
WASHINGTON (Oct. 29, 2026) — Naval District Washington (NDW) hosted a “Socialize with Your Sailor 360 Committee” event as part of its Sailor 360 program Oct. 29, aiming to empower enlisted personnel and create a space where Sailors can gain mentorship, build command rapport and reflect on naval history and traditions.
The event drew more than 20 participants from across NDW and provided attendees the opportunity to meet with NDW’s Sailor 360 coordinators, discuss upcoming events, play card games and enjoy lunch after completing the Navy’s semiannual Physical Readiness Test. “Leadership starts with connection,” said Yeoman 1st Class Jada Glaspie, NDW coordinator for Sailor 360. “Sailor 360 gives us the opportunity to build relationships, learn from one another and grow together as a Navy.”
The Sailor 360 initiative demonstrates NDW’s commitment to developing future Navy leaders and ensuring enlisted personnel are well-informed and prepared for success.
“It’s a great time when Sailors come together to embrace each other and build one another up,” said Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Nyzeke Green, a Sailor assigned to NDW.
Headquartered at the historic Washington Navy Yard, NDW serves as the regional provider of common operating support for naval installations throughout the National Capital Region. Spanning more than 4,000 square miles across the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Maryland counties, NDW delivers essential support services to more than 120 mission commands within its jurisdiction.
